Data Protection Notice
Last updated: July 2026
Responsible person
The company ALPEN-MAYKESTAG GmbH is responsible for the processing of your personal data on our website. You can find our information in the Legal Notice.
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this Privacy Policy. Your data will not be passed on to other recipients without your express consent.
Collection, processing and use of personal data
Access data/server log files
We automatically collect and store information transmitted to us by your browser. This includes
- browser type/version,
- the operating system used,
- referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- the host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- time of the server request,
- the amount of data transferred and
- the message whether the retrieval was successful.
Users' IP addresses are deleted or anonymised after use has ended. In the case of anonymisation, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that details concerning personal or factual circumstances can no longer be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person, or can only be attributed with a disproportionate amount of time, cost and effort. We analyse the data in the so-called log files in anonymised form in order to further improve the website and make it more user-friendly, and to identify and correct errors more quickly. They are also used to manage server capacities so that the appropriate data volumes can be made available when required.
Disclosure of data to third parties
The data collected by us will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or invoicing, or if you have given your prior consent. The data shared in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their task. These providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us in writing. They are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored by us. Any other use of the information is not permitted and is not carried out by any of the service providers commissioned by us.
Vacancies and online applications
We advertise vacancies on our website and provide the option of submitting an application to us online (by e-mail or via the contact form). If you apply for an advertised position, your data will only be collected and processed by us as part of the application process and will be deleted after the vacancy has been filled, unless statutory requirements necessitate longer storage.
You have expressly consented to longer storage in the event that a position is to be filled again at a later date, or we conclude an employment contract with you, in which case the data will be stored by us in the personnel file and for the processing of payroll accounting in compliance with the statutory data protection requirements.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any harm.
We use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website.
If you do not want this, you can configure your browser so that it informs you when cookies are being set and you only allow this in individual cases.
If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Further information on the cookies used on this website can be found here.
Web analytics with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as from processing this data, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
You can prevent collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website: Disable Google Analytics
Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended on this website by the code "anonymizeIp" to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
Google Tag Manager
To manage our website and integrate cookie-based technologies, we use the Tag Manager service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). For this purpose, your IP address is transmitted to a Google server, which may also be located in the USA, each time you access one of our web pages. The IP address is not stored by Google as part of the Tag Manager service and is only used to integrate the technologies managed via Tag Manager. The Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies.
Youtube
On our website, JavaScript code from YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA (hereinafter Youtube) is loaded. We use Youtube to embed videos on our website. If JavaScript is enabled in your browser and you have not installed a JavaScript blocker, your browser may transmit personal data to Youtube. We do not know which data Youtube links with the data received or for what purposes Youtube uses this data. Further information can be found in Youtube’s privacy policy (http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy). To prevent the execution of JavaScript code from Youtube altogether, you can install a JavaScript blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).
